Uniting Bookkeepers assisting Bookkeepers
Many years ago three Bookkeepers would meet for coffee; our conversations always gravitated towards the many topics associated with our Industry. The conversation was often about issues as tax legislation, qualifications, insurances, hourly rates, staffing issues, how accountants treat us, and other business related topics.
We met so regularly that we decided to actively pursue other bookkeepers to join our quest. As we united, it quickly became clear that our venture must become, Uniting Bookkeepers.
Our vision is to embrace all bookkeepers (qualified, or not, experienced or inexperienced) and assist them in raising their level of awareness and compliance in this industry.
Our mission/philosophy is to Educate, Support, Network and embrace bookkeepers, regardless of who or what you are, in your journey to be a successful and prosperous Professional Bookkeeper.
Uniting Bookkeepers agree that it is important for Bookkeepers to be qualified, especially in this current climate of Legislative changes – Tax Agent Services Act 2009. However, we believe there is a need for bookkeepers to belong to associations who can assist them in their quest to achieve.
We can assist with ongoing professional education via our workshops, guidance sheets and networking opportunities.
