Networking

Our objective with our Networking is to bring together Bookkeepers, Financial Controllers, Accounts Personnel, Accountants and Tax Agents together with other business industries that work closely with the finance industry to make new contacts, support each other and gain knowledge from industry experts.

One of our streams of networking are a Networking Dinner, normally held on the last Wednesday of each month from February to December (excluding July due to our industry’s work load). Each month we have two guest speakers, one in a technical format and the other an inspiration, motivational talk. Our speakers are videoed which enables our members outside the area to download and be part of the experience.

The other stream is Coffee Clubs, where you have the chance to meet other members and sponsors in a relaxed and informal setting. The format of the gathering is how Uniting Bookkeepers started, three bookkeepers getting together chatting over the issues relating to our profession. It’s FREE to our members and sponsors – we shout for tea or coffee. We have discussion notes from most of the meetings so that our members can look these up. We welcome non-members to all meetings, yet there are conditions.
